Our clinic offers the most advanced ultrasound techniques including vascular and contrast-enhanced ultrasound. Based on his clinical and academic achievements in the field of ultrasound our Gastroenterologist,  Dr. Ahmed Abdel Samie-Huber holds a trainer status from the German Society of Ultrasound in Medicine (DEGUM II). 


One of the main services provided by our clinic is the diagnosis and management of food allergy/intolerance with all state-of-the-art tests including hydrogen breath tests available at Tamara Polyclinics.

Dr. Samie-Huber is internationally recognized as a leading clinician and researcher.  He has authored more than 50 papers published in prestigious German and international medical journals, including pioneering research on anticoagulants and antiplatelet therapy in gastrointestinal endoscopy. He sits on the editorial board of several medical journals and serves as an ad hoc reviewer of several other peer-reviewed journals.

Hepatology/liver diseases: 
Our clinic offers comprehensive services for the diagnosis and management of acute/chronic liver, gallbladder, biliary tract, and pancreatic conditions.

In addition to medical history and clinical examination ultrasound is one of the most important noninvasive diagnostic tools in hepatology. 
Our clinic offers all diagnostic ultrasound procedures including vascular ultrasound and contrast-enhanced ultrasound. 
The early and proper diagnosis and treatment of hepatobiliary conditions are important to prevent long-term complications.

Hepatobiliary/pancreatic conditions treated in our department: 

  • Elevation of liver enzymes

  • Fatty liver

  • Acute hepatitis

  • Chronic hepatitis, including chronic viral hepatitis

  • Autoimmune hepatitis 

  • Gallbladder stones/stones of the biliary passages

Our gastroenterology clinic offers all non-invasive and invasive diagnostic tools for the diagnosis and management of gastrointestinal and liver diseases in the pediatric population.

Services provided include a.o. ultrasound, bowel ultrasound with high-resolution probes, pediatric endoscopy, and hydrogen breath tests for diagnosis of different food allergies/intolerance/maldigestion in children.
